In this case it's in the base package so it's one less thing I'm doing, and as much as I'm going to continue not using it there's nothing conflicting with it now so if people want to they're welcome to
So yesterday had a conversation with my boss who was not impressed at all with bazzite some two months ago ago so after a very short test run abandoned it the same day. I think immutable (truthfully some aspects elude me also with it) with the odd inconsistency did not sit right with him. He wanted something more classic so I recommended Mint Debian edition and so far it ticks all the boxes for him, even for gaming.
If I clone my 512gb drive to a 1tb with Clonezilla, is it possible to expand the size of the drive given Bazzite being immutable and all? Or will I need to do a reinstall?
@Kyle Gospo can I just use the -r (Resize) option in clonezilla, or do I need to do it after the fact? I'm very unfamiliar with btrfs and would prefer to avoid having to do a reinstall.
Hey guys. Just heard about Bazzite/ublue recently. It looks interesting; I've been doing some reading but I'm not quite sure about something. I already have a Kinoite 40 installation on AMD; I installed steam and a few drivers as usual, and things seem to work fine for gaming and all other purposes. For a general purpose desktop OS that is also gaming occasionally, what is the killer Bazzite value add for me? Is it just performance tweaks?
