If something is asking you to run another command for it to work, and it's not detecting anything, restarting said program after running the command is smart.
well i mean sure, as the next logical step, but it wouldn't help if the average non-technical user has been conditioned that restarts are not necessary
The "Linux doesn't need restarts" philosophy, while technically true, practically isn't a LOT of the time when you're not running a server that requires some level of uptime.
ig that's what happens when you take a 2023 windows handheld, throw linux (based off of another linux for another handheld) on it, and try to use a controller made and discontinued before either one existed lol
