THow often in game mode does bazzite searches for wifi, lately i've been noticing while using moonlight every X minues it will drop frames like 67% and stutter, was thinking it was my network or a mac on my network casuing the issue but after testing on other devices it seems like its only the ally that has this issue. I was able to replicate the issue instantly in desktop mode. In desktop mode I ll have moonlight streaming and every time I open the system networks settings page to list all wifi connections it will cause massive network frame drops and create this stutter thats the same in game mode ... Perhaps I should create a thread in #bazzite-help ?
Kgamemode and desktop share the exact same backend for networking. You can confirm this by connecting to a network from the desktop and then switching to gamemode.

Msounds like shitty wifi firmware so I’m not sure what you can do tbh. OLED deck has a similar issue with streaming
MApple devices had a similar issue too in moonlight actually actually, they ping a certain wifi channel every 10 minutes which could cause stutters

C'realtime' is the group Fedora uses with its realtime-setup package - which isn't applicable to Bazzite because it's immutable

CIt's literally just adding a file to /etc and creating and adding your user to a group
CIt also changes some stuff around network interrupts, which I believe is more catered to embedded applications
