https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad this detects it (as a switch pro controller) but the buttons are mismatched

Different. Read the man page. Discard is so fstrim will work on luks device. None indicates you will provide a password for unlock. You can specify a key file there instead.

all i know is that the ally doesnt support hold actions on the guide buttons (or is it just 1 of the buttons) so HHD has to work around that

HandHeldDaemon, it translates the controller of a few handhelds (e.g. Legion Go, ROG Ally) into the input of other controllers (Usually dualsense edge) so that you can take advantage of features like extra buttons, gyro and trackpads on those controllers.

I was in a call with someone with a HHD, their PC crashed and in the time their PC taken to reboot my and my friend were able to sequentially reboot and get back in the call

Did you ever find a sane way of working with the cuda toolkit under Fedora/Bazzite 40?

I tried running the deepstream image distrobox - https://docs.nvidia.com/metropolis/deepstream/dev-guide/text/DS_docker_containers.html with the gstreamer stuff via

/opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream/user_additional_install.sh

/opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream/user_additional_install.sh

, and running

gst-inspect-1.0 nvcodec

gst-inspect-1.0 nvcodec

shows the toolkit plugins I'm interested (cudaconvert, cudascale), but it also prints a ton of:

/usr/bin/nvidia-modprobe: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_ABI_DT_RELR' not found (required by /usr/bin/nvidia-modprobe)

is coming from the host and is apparently built with a libc that is incompatible with the one provided in the container. In the end, my app also crashes due to that.

not the same controller but i got an 8bitdo ultimate bt and never had to do anything special for that to work in switch input mode
