same deal here. if you really need the fonts you have to rip the modern ones yourself and linux software being built on corefonts originally was already a form of idiocy
you can rationalize it as empathy when you realize i am pissed off that a decision some impotent dev probably made 20 years ago is wasting people's time now
we scream from the rooftops "don't use microsoft fonts in linux" and then we have to support the users they created by ignoring us for years down the line
well, do what you want, just don't bring that negative vibe here. It's just fonts the world isn't going to explode, we're not bringing that old school linux vibe here.
i think you maybe missed the part where i didn't say anything beyond - no you can't use the rpm anymore - you need to rip it from the iso and use modern fonts to work with modern distros until somebody else made it personal and started interrogating me about the subject
