VMy 6700xt can handle 144hz at 1440p in some games, I don't see why a 6600xt couldn't especially at resolutions lower than 1440.

SOn 144hz I get moments of black flashes. Displays turns off occasionally I trouble shooted a couple years back the same issue and it was lowering the Refresh rate.

SI have a different system using the same exact cable and monitor and its running at 144hz with VRR(GCN 1.0) gpu
VI imagine the 6700xt and 6600xt use the same connections for display out, and assuming you're seeing 144hz advertised in settings it should work.

SIt also only seems to have happened in DP. Maybe it's a problem with the DP chip on the card?

VOften even low-spec cards support absurdly high resolution/refresh-rate compared to what they could get in gaming just for the sake of compatibility.
