If you rollback you overwriting the same image? If you 0 is testing and 1 is stable 2.9 you will keep the 2.9? (No pinned)

i believe if i understand it correctly, rollback just switches them. so testing would move to 1 and stable would be 0. so that way it default boots to stable again.

and then the next time you update stable, your current stable build goes to 1 and the new update would be at 0. and testing would be gone unless you pin it.

Yeah, agreed. I love the vision of Cloud Native Linux. It's a future of stability and ease-of-use which is something I think Linux as a whole for the desktop experience needs to be successful.
