Myou don’t update the driver individually. They get updated with the entire image.

KIs there a reason you want to do that? That was an old tweak for the original release of Steam OS, which shipped a Linux kernel with a bug that made SMT on slower
KGenerally turning it off should always be slower on a modern kernel
KAnyway, power tools should work the exact same way here

NIf I install the image with game mode why cant there be more than one account login?
KThe game mode image uses valve's session model
KWhich only supports one user, and assumes that user is named deck (but we fix that part)
Ofor desktop, is game mode or gamescope useful? I've not gotten a good sense of their use.

OStandalone session in what way? I'm catching up on the Linux world here. The last time I used it my gaming options were telnet.

Mthey’ve very proud of Gamescope knowing more about your computer’s display than most desktop compositors so that’s how they implement some of the fancy stuff like HDR so early before desktops did
Mnow KDE has caught up and Gamescope can give you HDR from plasma 6 without needing Gamescope as a standalone session and gnome is planning to do the same
KSometimes fullscreen breaks for me so I turn on gamescope and it works
AHaving trouble trying to add a second hard drive to steam.

AI followed the guide on the bazzite documentation, and the drive is auto mounting properly, but when I try to add a second drive in steam and click ok it just does nothing. no error message and no additional library added.
