OIs there any way to tell for sure that a system update is happening? Noticing a bunch of network and disk usage with no easy way to tell which processes are using bandwidth or why my SSD is reading at 100% speed, except that baloo_file_extractor run by systemd is going full tilt on something

Oalright, that tracks, I changed how the samba share to my media server is stored in Dolphin because how it was before was half broken and constantly spamming credential requests as if the keyring doesn't exist
Oand the network send on my media server matches the network receive on my local machine
Nmy volume slider doesn't change the volume at all in bazzite. if i put it all the way down, it'll mute but i can slide it all over the place and the volume remains the same.
Ni can move the sliders for individual applications (like youtube in my browser, or applications in pavucontrol) and change those volume levels but not the master volume. anyone know what might be wrong?
Noh just poking around in pavucontrol i changed my output profile to digital stereo duplex and that fixed it
