CHi, is it possible to use the pay per bitrate rate but auto switch it to the minutes stored rate to avoid cost spikes? I ask because in general there is low stream amount - views, but occasionally a lot (100-1000 playbacks in a week).
CI have to pay currently $10 a month, and really like the backend and look of the CF player, but when I (or other potential customers) compare it to the Vimeo base tier it is just about $5 the month with a weekly upload limit. Ideally, I would have a free tier and video Advertisements (with revenue share).

TDid you ever get an answer? I too only want to live stream or live playback with no need for stream recordings. I would be happy to pay $5.00 per month similar to the monthly pre-paid minimum storage charge. And still pay the other post-paid streaming minutes viewed costs. If only Cloudflare could give us a choice?

TSadly, automatic minimum deletion only occurs at 30 days or more and can't be set to less than this. If it was say possible for '0' days deletion, could that possibly set to 'null' recording mode instead of 'automatic' in the API/JSON? As the internet is mostly reliable, connections from my origin server to the Cloudflare CDN do break for whatever reason time to time. When that occurs, the Cloudflare stream and record stops, and Cloudflare will report that my minimum 1,000 minute storage is full and won't resume live streaming when the internet connection restores. Then I have to tediously delete the un-needed recorded stream video file from the Cloudflare Dashboard before I can restore live streaming. I do not see why I would have to pay a monthly fee for 30 days storage when I have no use for any storage at all. I have yet to have a stream last more than 10 days before it gets interrupted and my storage reports as full. I have never seen how automatic deletion works in the live stream context. Surely Cloudflare Developers are aware, as requests to stream only with no recording were put in around 2 years ago elsewhere with mentions of 'coming soon', still waiting.

KI have a live input that will be receiving a stream for 4 hours; I don't want a 4 hour recording though, but rather 4 1-hour recordings.
How can I accomplish this without stopping and restarting my input stream every hour? (because if I stop and restart my stream it disrupts viewers)

PHeyo, are the audio and video tracks separate in the m3u8 file? No idea about this kind of stuff usually but that just popped into my head as I read your message
KCloudflare Stream webhooks are broken.
As of sometime yesterday, when Cloudflare Stream calls my webhook, it uses GET instead of POST. The GET request has no information about which video finished encoding. Help!

KGood to hear that it might just be me. We haven't made any code or infrastructure changes, so I can't think of anything immediately. The webhook goes to a small CF Worker function and the logs show the incoming call as GET. I PUT a new webhook record (with the same URL) in case that would fix it, but it behaves the same. Any other things to check?
TI ask question here and other places on Cloudflare, still no news on whether this will be implemented. Surely there are a few people wanting some kind of traction on stream (live playback) only with no recording please?

Gif your storage is full streaming will stop. You need to delete some of the videos in your library to continue live streaming.

MHey, atm only english and a max video length of 2 hours are supported in autogenerated captions (ai), when will other languages and lengths be available?

WCF Stream SRT Outputs don't support ffmpeg params such as mode & latency? I am trying to send SRT data to a decoder and I must include these params for it to work. Via OBS it sends fine
MAmazing thanks @mickiebetz ! Can i ask a couple more questions, was going through the docs and api and got confused:
- When creating a live input, rtmps and rtmpsPlayback are essentially the same (in api docs, same stream key and url)?
- To play a livestream I need the DASH or HLS urls, which are just the endpoints with the uid at the end correct (so https://customer<CODE>.cloudflarestream.com/<LIVE_UID>/manifest/video.m3u8 or .mpd)? So no need to send a get request once the livestream has started as the docs state?
- For webRTC in the docs, you state that there are two variables, a secret for publishing and an input_uid for playing but in the API docs, the broadcasting and playback urls are the same except for the ending, either /public or /play. So the secret and the input_uid are the same?
- Once the livestream has ended and it has been recorded (when it is ready), can I just treat it as a normal video so using the live_uid in the video endpoints (or does the recorded video get a different uid, different to that of the live_uid)?
- And is there a web hook event for when a livestream recording is ready - is it the same as that for videos?

From OBS I am streaming to Cloudflare to handle my multiple Outputs. Two are going to YouTube and one is going to a web streaming service via RTMP, those work great!
I am trying to stream to SRT to our local CBS news station, the stream decoder is a Teradek device. When streaming directly to the SRT link in OBS it works flawlessly! But using Cloudflare's SRT output, even though it says connected, nothing appears on the news station's decoder. I thought it was because Cloudflare couldn't allow custom parameters for the mode being set to "caller", maybe I'm wrong? A support document said Cloudflare is already in "caller" mode for SRT?
Any advice to get the SRT link working in CF would be amazing!

BHi @mickiebetz . Do you know that is there any regions or country that block CloudFlare stream? We are planning to move the video from Vimeo to cloudFlare because vimeo got blocked on China and Indonesia
THuh? That is not an answer at all as I do not want to record my streams period. Seems no-one in Developer land is going to answer my query?
GThere is no option to disable recording. Its how CF stream is designed.
TSo there is no way to request changes or options?
