FWIW I remember having this problem with either cachyos or nobara few months back and the solution was to use rufus. Will try to check if they had given the reason

If it helps, I upgraded my wifi card to an mpe ax3000 wifi 6 card and it works alot better. If its an older Realtek wifi card that might be part of the issue. I couldn't even see some networks until upgrade after our isp changed out network hardware.
