VNot sure if anyone answered this question yet, but yes. You'll need to either enable TPM unlock (there's a ujust command), enroll a Yubikey (or any other FIDO2 key) to unlock the partition instead of a password, or always have a usb keyboard around to unlock it on boot.

K@Kyle Gospo after further testing, on the 06/30 image, if I connect via USB-C directly to a monitor, the display out works properly. Using any USB-C to HDMI dongle or dock, it does not.

Vi use a yubikey myself. but yeah, there's no ability to have an on-screen keyboard for the password unlock for luks. they tried a project in the past, but it didn't pan out.
Lmy deal breaker was that they removed the feature of putting task bar to the top of the screen
Land it still isnt there, you have to use an unofficial software to do that
V@Len I know you can read but just so I'm 100% sure you know, LUKS doesn't work on Deck without some external method for authentication

VTPM Unlock is internal, but it skips the password prompt. so it's only good if the drive is removed from the Deck
RAnyone have a fix for the weird issue of mouse disappearing/stuck screen after an application closes?
VI thought the Deck didn't have TPM, which feels stupid saying out loud.
KIt's still encrypted at rest, it just means you're only secured by your password or lock screen

VDecky is a nice to have, firmware afaik is just for Deck. You will still get firmware stuff for your PC (if it supports in-OS updating)
