WIf you going on vacation you might want to turn off automatic updates. The 5GB updates can be a bit pricey on a cellphone plan.

VI'm still very much a novice when it comes to Linux based systems. But I'm taking the challenge to daily drive it on my pc. And minus a few windows specific apps and vr, it's been smooth so I'll probably understand more in time.

JI think automatic updates is only for the desktop versions of Bazzite, right? The handheld versions you need to manually hit that Update button?

Kdesktop is automatic, handhelds are gaming mode (Steam will check for updates but not auto-apply them)
CIf you're on GNOME, VR should work out when Bazzite 4.0 comes out - which will be based on Fedora 41, which will have GNOME 47 with DRM leasing

CI suspect the VR situation on Linux will get dramatically better in the near future as a certain piping-themed company starts investing more into it

KWe don't ship clam AV, and never will. That's primarily for Windows viruses on a Linux email server
