OWhat shows up in System Settings under Bluetooth? Assuming you're on KDE, though I'd expect Gnome's settings to also have a bluetooth section
OI don't have a BT adapter at all but the section is still there for me, just shows this

BOkay so I finally got it working...
So I've had this issue happen in the past and I solved it by power cycling the PC. Sounds too obvious to be true but it worked back then. Thing is, I made multiple attempts today and it did not solve it. So, this time I unplugged the power cable and just left it unplugged for about 30 minutes. Came back, booted up, and now bluetooth is working again
Honestly I don't even know what to say.

Oit's like when I couldn't get my VR headset to work at all, tried unplugging it several times only for it to eventually magically work the last time I tried the same thing again

CAt this point, with the same hardware but years older, I genuinely have better performance on Linux than I ever did on Windows
CHigher, more stable framerate, on a higher resolution monitor, at higher settings, and without CPU overheating issues

CI'll consider that conspiracy if you have several receipts, but no, the problem was that Windows, Intel, and HP set the CPU to run at the highest possible frequency on all cores at all times in order to maximize system performance and responsiveness in case the system load spikes from, say, 12% to 60%
II don't really feel like "conspiracy" is the right word to use for "advertised features"? Recall and even weather tracking are using system resources I would never dedicate
VI'm surprised Windows doesn't target lower power targets more considering how often it's running on a 5 year old i3 in enterprise situations.
CRecall, maybe, but that did not exist when I had performance issues on Windows years ago. Weather tracking takes such a laughably tiny fraction of a percentage of processing power, which I also use on Linux, that it would not cause a 20C temperature increase
INot saying it's responsible for everything, Just saying they're perfectly fine with sacrificing user experience for a quick buck.
KThey're also doing a lot of work to contribute to Linux, both effort level and monetarily
