hello all! I've been enjoying bazzite and was just wondering if anybody has heard any new news about the crashy Firefox issues with the current nvidia drivers? I'd read somewhere that the new nvidia drivers in fedoras's rpmfusion fix them - how does that work with ublue? will it automatically make its way into the new image in the next day or two?

Several users had firefox crashing yeah, if I remember correctly, we force firefox to use xwayland as a workaround for that

We use fedora repos by default. As for Nvidia driver, I think we use negativo repo

just stick to flatpaks or snaps cuz then it wont matter which distro you are at

Mint's nvidia drivers are very long in the tooth at this point, especially with a new GPU, so that was the big reason why it mattered

I have been using Linux for over 25 years and at this point I am over using the terminal for everything, I appreciate it's existence, and utility, but sooo many people asking for help get advice to do something they can do in 2 clicks in the GUI in the terminal instead, and I just think that's unfriendly
