I don't trust doing a 'preorder' on a platform where they're not obligated to actually ship the thing I pay for. Granted, they always have, but yeah, seems an odd business practise if you're not a shiny new startup.

I got kind of a weird issue with my sound and was curious if anyone else has experienced the same.

So hooked up via HDMI with 5.1 I get some crackling when my speakers have been idle for a few seconds.

If I switch to desktop, I can recreate it using the channel tests.

Weird thing is I switch to 7.1 the issue is completely gone, but then I obviously lose my rear channels since they’re used as sides.
