STo be fair, it makes sense for them to provide support only for a couple OS, including the one they have control of. One of the biggest gripes companies have of supporting Linux is the need to support a bazillion distros each with their weird stuff happening in the background

Hbecause of how dumb peculiar the linker is on linux, it's significantly harder to support multiple distros
Hon windows you can at least be reasonably sure a random update won't explode your software
Twill uninstall your drivers sometimes tho
