MIn theory, a game could have a lot of stuff it might want to load, but doesn't necessarily need all of it super fast... But I guess you could also just make use of direct storage or just loading it when you need it instead of preloading it under that circumstance

Ni've got a weird issue: a few days ago i accidentally unplugged my usb sound card (soundblaster x3) and now everytime i start my computer the sound settings shows the adaptor but it doesn't produce any sound until i unplug the usb cable and plug it back in. dmesg doesn't tell me anything. y'all think that's the hardware itself or is there something else i could look at on my system to hunt down the issue?
