@nubbins is right. I have the MCGU with the adapter, too. Given the sheer height of the MCGU, the additional length of the adapter itself, attached to an already tall arm of the Rhino, there is about 150mm of extension from the gimble to the stick. That's plenty of fine control. I, too, would be wary of putting an extension on top of the adapter; if an extension is necessary for your rig, would be preferable to use a Warthog/Virpil compatible extension with the adapter on top. All this being said, while the Rhino is strong at 100 %, I've yet to sense any flex or creaking in the VKB adapter under load. I typically run master gain at about 60 to 65 %, anyway. 100% strength is novel to play with, but can be more distracting than informative in every day flying.
