Don’t forget that elevator droop is modeled which is super cool. What this means is that on the ground if you put the stick in the center, it will move forward to the stop all by itself. This is because without air moving over them, the weight of gravity on the elevators will make them droop which pulls the stick forward. This is modeled on the P-51 for sure, not sure about the other warbirds.

yeah, they probably add some sort of effect, and if not TelemFFB can definitely add it. Was more just speaking rhetorically about the general nature of the spring force being applied gradually based on air speed

there are, but i think the nature of allowing rotation at the grip level relative to the connector inevitably creates an an area where some metal has to connect to the plastic, and this is ultimately a weak point that over time wears down. an all metal grip, with no ability to rotate i think is the ultimate play

ehh, i wouldn't say that, i would say they've always been on the mid to higher end of the mid teir production stuff, like the only stuff better would be like super custom/military type stuff. Their alpha's before the prime were in the mid 200s, but dropped in price a bit with the Prime

Virpil is fine, but to see one being priced at $310 on sale, regular $369.95 seems very overpriced. I see that Virpil has removed that "regular" price from their page in the last few hours even though it's still cached by Google.
