Di stumbled on a couple of reddit posts about people complaining that bazzite-deck gnome was not ready
KI gave it a whirl and ... maybe I just need some better extensions? The constant zooming in and out of activities overview just makes me ... not motion sick but it stops just short of it.
MWhat is your favorite Remote Desktop solution for bazzite?

Dcopy/pasting is not supported last i checked though, but there’s always ways to get around that i’m sure, i often resort to just using a shared drive to pass files back and forth
AAnyone had success with gui transcoder using amd gpu? I already tried a bunch and most don't support it, the only thing that worked is using ffmpeg directly
KLMAO I fixed my plasmashell segfault and the process was so stupid but I guess I will document it in a thread in the help channel.

WYeah, probably just going to leave it as is then, it's the only drive in the second PC.
WHeadscratcher on how that happened though, probably some Ventoy side effect of swapping through like 5 distros in a row to just see how they looked/felt.
WHi! I try to stream (steam home streaming) from bazzite to bazzite, but i get only a black screen. Is there a fix for this problem?

JTry toggling hardware acceleration on or off in steams settings and see if that changes anything. I think it can be either encoding or decoding that can be to blame

Ghello pals i have an atomic distro noob question if anyone has time/headspace
GI'm trying to see whether I can layer in a plymouth theme - this github suggests this'll work on a fedora atomic - but when I get to 'build the rpm', it doesn't look like Bazzite has the 'rpmbuild' command? Is that right? Would I need to layer that in first?

Ksudo dnf provides rpmbuildsudo dnf install rpm-buildNow to slowly layer back on my customizations rebooting 20 times in the process to ensure each individual change is unproblematic.
