Tincredibly easy to run opengl linux ports will work, windows only games need to use wined3d translation which requires a launch option and will perform poorly in comparison to vulkan. light emulation will work

Tbiggest test if you're willing to try, is to see if Fedora Kinoite/Silverblue can even make it to the installer on your hardware

sounds like your CPU governor is likely misconfigured and stuck on performance or somethingAhardware? is it a steam deck?
