RHi everyone ! I just setup bazzite, but I have an issue m'y network is very very slow. My pc download at a speed of 3.3 Mio/s steam is updating and it's taking ages, is this a know issue ?

Pfast router does not mean fast internet
VI'd just say wait until you're actually installing a game. We have specific fixes to make steam downloads faster.
RI use an external adaptater from TP link to allow wifi 6e on m'y computer
VSteam's client update servers aren't THE fastest.
VAlso it's tuesday maintainence time which may have an impact.

RYes but downloading steam client update by 1ko/s per second dors not seems normal here, it only take a second on windows. I think there is an incompatibilty somewhere between m'y setup and bazzite

Pi would suggest if there was a serious issue with your wireless adapter, it probably wouldn't work at all

JI haven't used Gnome in a long long time, but there should be an Updates tab in the Software Center right (like for Flatpaks)? I see Explore and Installed, but no Updates. I know

Jyeah I primarily use KDE on my desktops, I just have Gnome on my Steam Deck (bazzite-deck-gnome)

JRight now I just have Platform updates, but I'm not seeing the updates show up in Gnome Software. I mean I can see Add-ons in the Installed tab but no indication of pending updates

flatpak -u updateI took that screenshot with no updates showing, after that I updated through Emudeck, and I noticed my Dolphin version changed, so I know there were updates

MTried to connect that controller via Bluetooth and it gets into some feedback loop and can’t permanently connect. It does give the option to wake from sleep, but not sure if that would work (Steam Deck edition on an HTPC here).
_well idk what the issue was, but since I also had some strange issue with it asking for the password to the encrypted drive after the OS had been started and the drive already mounted, I decided on a total reinstall. naturally, that solved all the problems at once.
_and since I offloaded stuff like vscode and obsidian to my NAS, there's not a lot to reinstall besides games. compare that to windows, where I would spend 8 hours getting everything set back up.
_I can't thank the bazzite devs enough for making a distro that's already set up for gaming, wish I had money to donate to you guys.
