YGot it, makes sense. Any guesses as to why I am running into the permissions issue to begin with? I did create a root user when I installed bazzite which I know is not recommended.

Twould recommend reading docs on this and only layer when you absolutely have to. Ik Kyle said you need to layer that package but for your own sanity, keep it to a minimal

TI'm really excited for the next update. I've had way less steam crashes when switching like before. These Updates have really been ironing out the bugs I was having. It's super cool and I really appreciate your guys work.

TI'm so glad decky loader is a thing. It helped with my two issues with gamescope, which was not having access to discord calls, and less importantly aesthetics. I love how customizable Linux is. I'm pretty sure I could also make desktop look cool too, because KDE is very easy to theme.
TI should try to find a theme that's similar to my gamescope session.

TFor now I've just been doing systemctl restart sddm. It is a lot faster than a full reboot. And the command line stays logged in in case it happens again which saves me time
