KQuestion, are you booting with the egpu connected, or attaching it post-boot?
Mhooking up egpu, restarting device with connected egpu
Kboot up, go to desktop. THEN connect it. You can easily get logs that way at the least.
Kperhaps it might provide some insight

KI did find a reddit post from someone that said that made it work for them
Kthough I find it odd that I had no need of it.

Mall-way-gpu tried that - weird script. i am not sure it even works as expected. can I pls ping you a private message? so that i could ping once you are back?
Mits like I am missing or firware or some extra settings.

KThere is nothing about AMD that isn't upstream or handled in Mesa

KAlso your GPU is already being detected properly, it would not be listed with its correct name if it wasn't
KYour issue is purely this crash, and I'm not sure why since you're seemingly the only one affected
KAre you on a stock install, or do you have stuff installed. ,etc?
Mhow many people figured to use 7900gre? maybe this is the issue? ;D

so i am ok. i hook up xreal glasses there KI have Rokid Airs, but I've only ever hooked them up to just the Legion itself
