SIf you didn't enable the root account when you installed it, then logging in as root isn't going to work
SYeah, I figured that, still trying to learn everything. Is there a way to reset everything without reinstalling the OS? I already put a different version on my drive for someone else's PC and my Internet will take forever to do so
SI'm guessing I just put something random as the password because I have tried all the normal stuff I'd use
SI personally don't have an easy way off the top of my head to deal with it, maybe someone else has an idea, but everyone makes mistakes. You might be able to do something like chroot-ing into the install and mess with some passwords that way, but it might just be easier to just re-install.
If your USB is large enough, you can also just hold multiple ISOs on it using Ventoy without having to remake the drive every time. Bazzite ISOs are pretty large though, so you would need a larger drive to do that.
