DNew guy here, just window shopping for a FFB base at the moment. And learning. Question: can you set / save a different FFB software "end stop" limit based on each aircraft you are flying? So I could have less full range of movement for a cold war jet, and more movement for a helicopter, for instance? Or does it have to be just a general setting in common for all aircraft?
A1) hardware limiters are better than software so you might want to go for a generic option because of that

1I just recently completed a diy kit and Iβve just been removing and replacing limiters, it takes less than a min tops. Quick calibration and youβre off to the races!
Aand it doesn't sound like too complicated a thing so I'm confident support could be added, but you'd either need to do it yourself or convince one of the contributors
Athey are very open to new ideas so I suggest giving it a go

1I mostly fly helos but just took the 16 and a10 for a spin and the stick is really loose in the center. Everything but friction is on 100% in the config, any ideas to tighten the center up?

SThe Rhino has mounting holes around its' base and presumably can be fastened to a plywood board or other surface. With the Moza AB9 it seems I would first need to source a mounting plate, find a way to fasten that plate to bottom of the AB9 and then attech to the plywood board I now use with my VKB spring base+extension. I don't see that Moza has considered that kind of setup need.
SOne question about the exposed motors/belts - has anyone had any issues with that? Looks like it might not be the best friend to leg hair...
DOr curious pets either. I can imagine a kitten getting a paw pinched badly while the user is in blinded in VR. I think I saw somebody on YouTube had 3D printed some belt guards. And just to keep it clean also, mounted as low as it must be.
Sfor a moment i thought i actually damaged my rhino yesterday it had like substantial resistance to the left yeah i would say that happens in u accidentally put balance spring to 80 instead of 8% xD
XI think going forward Walmis needs to develope an aluminium enclosure (press fit), and make his lovely thing as neat as at least Moza did
Xthat will boost company quite well, in terms of becoming less DIY to more streamlined production.
XI don't think having a alu casing is big deal for everyone who owns Rhino (best piece of equipment and softare), but it surely will compete on different markets
