Ok, so I have some pretty solid feedback on the seat belt tensioner. I am already using what I call, 'passive tensioning' as I have a motion simulator, I basically have elastic straps that connect to the base of the rig and then to my seat belt, when the rig lifts this in turn tensions my belt. I have tried a seat belt tensioner in another mates rig a few years ago and I honestly didn't feel like it was significantly better than my setup. What I would absolutely kill for is the 'Gseat' https://www.simxperience.com/shop/sx-gs5-001-gs-5-g-seat-711 , if only it was compatible with FS2020 and DCS. I have actually flown in a multi million dollar sim trainer with gforce pads that actuated in the seat, blew my mid how realistic the gforces felt. Having said this though if you do not have a motion rig, this belt tensioner might be a fantastic addition. Here are some pictures of my current setup:

I'm not grasping at straws... Just as with new cars and new tech, sometimes it's intelligent to stand back and wait for a couple of iterations before you decide to purchase said product. Price generally reduces and most of the bugs are worked out which goes back to my point that it's smart to wait it out a bit and see where the product goes and I have no issue with people who want the latest tech. It's made for enjoyment and there is isn't any reason to bash a product. We are all here for the same reason that we enjoy force feedback and it's fun to see manufacturers compete with each other because ultimately it leads to a better product that benefits the consumer.

The software issues are clearly spoken about in the discord. No one needs to invest time to recite something that was already discussed. If someone wants to know they can do their own research. He did give you a clue and specifically told you to compare the range of effects the TelemFFB can produce. It's really not hard. No one owes you anything, not an explanation, data and nor needs to answer any of your questions. Take care and be well.

What "issues" exactly? Is that somehow an excuse to call the software bad and call it a day? I'm flying the thing daily for years now. No one has time to recite but has time to crap on another project? Right. Btw, I did my research, mate. I assure you. Also have built both bases and have first hand experience with both. That "range of effects" point you're trying to argue is something you never experience on a real aircraft stick, that's why it wasn't there and wasn't given priority. Unlike some local chill dudes, I am not shitting on other products or being racist. So there you have it.

You are really pationate about the FFBeast..No idea why you are so defensive about it, perhaps you know the company owner personally..People want certain effects regardless if they are in real life or not and not just pertaining to flight simulation but you knew that, didn't you... It's clear that Rhino offers more in this arena and that's great for them, more developers and manufactures I'm sure are taking note. Speaking of which, if you are very happy with the FFB Beast then why are you in this discord? My guess is you probably do not own either one but I'm sure we can believe you since you say you do because well, we all believe everything on the internet now don't we... I fly only heli and have an extension on it but it really needs to be double the length as set it up in a real heli placing the rhino near the floor. That's when you need a good amount of force when you start adding leverage.

I bought the Max Flight H145 heli setup and plan to attach the extension to the Rhino and mounting the rhino close to under the floor to have as close to the same ergonomics as the actual heli. I'm hoping the force will be enough.

It's definitely worth a shot. I like the rhino and the old metal F16 stick I have on it but for the heli it's needs to be further out and closer to the floor. That's where I have it now and needs to be further. Once I get the motion rig going and all the H145 frame and electronics I'll be able to figure it out better

I mounted the rhino to the dcs edition simfab via the metal plate from my old warthog and it fits perfect. That’s with a vpc 200mm extention.

As nice as the MonsterTech chair is I have 2 complaints. 1) It's very expensive 2) It takes a long time to ship (almost rivals the Rhino). I had to go with something else to use, or I would have one myself

I agree it's definitely expensive. When I bought mine it was just over 500 now they are 789 + plus shipping last I checked. If I had to buy one today I would because it's nice to sit in for a long period of time. I sit sometimes 8 hours in it doing work for my business and never feel it's uncomfortable. I had a few office chairs double the price with mesh etc and I can't say the same.
