JAs nice as the MonsterTech chair is I have 2 complaints. 1) It's very expensive 2) It takes a long time to ship (almost rivals the Rhino). I had to go with something else to use, or I would have one myself

HI agree it's definitely expensive. When I bought mine it was just over 500 now they are 789 + plus shipping last I checked. If I had to buy one today I would because it's nice to sit in for a long period of time. I sit sometimes 8 hours in it doing work for my business and never feel it's uncomfortable. I had a few office chairs double the price with mesh etc and I can't say the same.

JYeah I see you have the one with caster wheels, so your usecase totally makes sense. I wanted the aluminum profile based one to hard mount to cockpit. I think it was just as expensive though, and took just as long or longer to ship.
JI have a Secret Labs Titan chair I sit in for 15h+ daily and find it quite comfortable, so my use case is a bit different, since I don't need a new office chair
1I’m very pleased with it. I thought I would never get it low enough but it could almost come up some…the best thing is you can feel all the vibrations in the rudders and seat!

HIt's funny because I'm going to buy another one without casters for my H145 build because I don't want to cannibalize my office chair. The setup is different with the recline function.
JIf I ever make a second cockpit, to have a cockpit dedicated to flying and one to driving, that's a chair I'll seriously consider because there are so few on the market and that is a very solid price

A~1-6 weeks for the MFC currently, depending on production, currently stock, etc etc.
HThere is one on Amazon , pretty cost effective but I don't want the racing look. I like the MTS because it tapers up to the top

Wmy e-stop is just too big to fit the fan, so i put it on the outside
HYeah I put alum. Blocks underneath but I can quick release under the chair and move it out of the way if needed.

WWhat’s up fellas, quick question: are there any settings I can use that’ll keep the stick centered using force trim in DCS helicopters? It seems to sag away from the trimmed center.
WSo I hit trim and remove my hand, the stick sags away from the center just enough that I have to keep my hand there. I noticed it mostly with the Apache.
1There’s a setting in effects, I think “balanced spring” is what it’s called, I’m new to the rhino, that helps that! Also in the spring effect there’s a tab you can check that’ll use sprung force to help hold it in place.
1I had issues as well getting it dialed in with a 200mm ext with a heavy grip…
Aa continuation of what bama said above, are you running an extension? how heavy is your grip? Also how strong are the spring forces you are using? The apache forces i find are quite strong in practice, but also don't have an extension. also do you have adaptive re-centering on? that's a good thing to be running as well I find
NThese guys are steering you in the right direction. Balance Spring will get you close, the adaptive recentering is the final icing that will keep the stick always centered. RI’ve been running a 5% on xy with good success. My grip isn’t heavy just have a very long extension so need a little extra help

LNegative mate, All you can do is control the spring force with the dial for SC, pretty handy though. Games so far are DCS, FS2020, IL2, Xplane
Nyou new to the F16? This is inherent to the DCS viper and why it sucks ass to fly compared to BMS on regular joysticks
Nbut i'm surprised you find it so noticeable with Rhino. imo Rhino is the only way to make the DCS viper tolerable, maybe it's the throw range and smoothness, I don't really mind it

VWhat has helped for me is to check the "Override spring" in the TelemFFB. With that option checked the Viper now behaves quite nicely
[The problem with the Viper in DCS ist the hard coded Deadzone which is essential for FSSB. But it is a bad thing for throw sticks. But ED translated the FSSB deadzone 1:1 into the throw. The only way to eliminate this is to create a custom curve in which you do the opposite of a deadzone. Literally you have to skip the deadzone area around the center, so the axis start at the point where you have control surface input.
