HYou are really pationate about the FFBeast..No idea why you are so defensive about it, perhaps you know the company owner personally..People want certain effects regardless if they are in real life or not and not just pertaining to flight simulation but you knew that, didn't you... It's clear that Rhino offers more in this arena and that's great for them, more developers and manufactures I'm sure are taking note. Speaking of which, if you are very happy with the FFB Beast then why are you in this discord? My guess is you probably do not own either one but I'm sure we can believe you since you say you do because well, we all believe everything on the internet now don't we... HI fly only heli and have an extension on it but it really needs to be double the length as set it up in a real heli placing the rhino near the floor. That's when you need a good amount of force when you start adding leverage.

HI bought the Max Flight H145 heli setup and plan to attach the extension to the Rhino and mounting the rhino close to under the floor to have as close to the same ergonomics as the actual heli. I'm hoping the force will be enough.

HIt's definitely worth a shot. I like the rhino and the old metal F16 stick I have on it but for the heli it's needs to be further out and closer to the floor. That's where I have it now and needs to be further. Once I get the motion rig going and all the H145 frame and electronics I'll be able to figure it out better

1I mounted the rhino to the dcs edition simfab via the metal plate from my old warthog and it fits perfect. That’s with a vpc 200mm extention.
HIt's a wonderful chair, I bought it years ago. Extremely comfortable. I waited until black Friday. At the time it was 15% off and free shipping. It doubles for me working in my office doing engineering work but I decided to build a dedicated H145 Sim

JAs nice as the MonsterTech chair is I have 2 complaints. 1) It's very expensive 2) It takes a long time to ship (almost rivals the Rhino). I had to go with something else to use, or I would have one myself

HI agree it's definitely expensive. When I bought mine it was just over 500 now they are 789 + plus shipping last I checked. If I had to buy one today I would because it's nice to sit in for a long period of time. I sit sometimes 8 hours in it doing work for my business and never feel it's uncomfortable. I had a few office chairs double the price with mesh etc and I can't say the same.

JYeah I see you have the one with caster wheels, so your usecase totally makes sense. I wanted the aluminum profile based one to hard mount to cockpit. I think it was just as expensive though, and took just as long or longer to ship.
JI have a Secret Labs Titan chair I sit in for 15h+ daily and find it quite comfortable, so my use case is a bit different, since I don't need a new office chair
1I’m very pleased with it. I thought I would never get it low enough but it could almost come up some…the best thing is you can feel all the vibrations in the rudders and seat!

HIt's funny because I'm going to buy another one without casters for my H145 build because I don't want to cannibalize my office chair. The setup is different with the recline function.
JIf I ever make a second cockpit, to have a cockpit dedicated to flying and one to driving, that's a chair I'll seriously consider because there are so few on the market and that is a very solid price

A~1-6 weeks for the MFC currently, depending on production, currently stock, etc etc.
HThere is one on Amazon , pretty cost effective but I don't want the racing look. I like the MTS because it tapers up to the top
