Using a Virpil constellation and I have that selected @Fourgrinder
RHow many buttons does that grip have? I have Realsimulator grips (F16 and F18), and they only register 32 buttons and not the full 64ish

NThe issue is only happening with hats and the scroll wheel on the stick. The regular buttons are working fine
WCan you activate the "Debug" grip profile and screenshot the info printed in the Debug tab, I'll check whether Virpil has made a new revision or something.

NI unfortunately bent the pins on my normal right handed stick so a new one's in the mail. So the left handed version is the issue then?
WYeah, the Right handed one should work fine. I'll attempt fix the LH for the next firmware release.

I connect my Rhino via usb, it gets dicovered I can launch the WebUSB tool.
When I try to launch the FFB configurator, because I want to set up my Constellation Alpha grip and to swap axis, the configurator does not dicover (and shows USB disconnected (tested 4 ports on my puter plus a hub),
SO I guess I am doing something wrong )web usb tool shows me Device FW v.1.0.16. / Running win 10. The webtool detects the axis Input. As does the usb game controller tool of win10.

Myou might want to try running as administrator
MOkay I tried different things and got a strange USBlib Transfer error in between. Admin privileges didn't help.
But a restart after a winupdate did. Now all works as I intended ! ... sometimes all I can do is wonder.

LOr did Windows update do it for you already?
LHey crew, all of a sudden my stick is contantly vibrating. I have read through others mention of this however nothing seems to fix it. Tried loading defaults, changing profiles. The only thing that seems to work is turning either the Master gain to 0 or the Periodic effects to 0. Any suggestions?

[Go to the debug window. There you can see if it is an effect or a bug.
LNot sure what to look for?
WCould be a lingering effect, restarting DCS should fix it. Or you can reset all effects via TelemFFB menu
LHmm ok, I tried a full power cycle of the PC a few times, would this not clear it?

LThat is exactly whats happening.
LIll try firing up DCS, starting TFFB and resetting the effects to see if that has any affect.
[It shouldn’t. If TFFB and DCS are not running there should be no effect on the rhino.

LWalmis was bang on, Yep, some how the effects had stuck and committed to the unit. Even after a reboot and zero software running it was vibrating constantly. Firing up DCS, and loading a module fixed it.

LYea I was pulling my hair out, totally strange however, this crew shines once again
RWhat kind of curve in the vpforce software would allow a higher spring force in the center and taper off as you move the stick away from center. Say when trimmed flying helo with force trim enable in dcs or override. Or is this better accomplished with saturation
RCool. Will this work in dcs when using the dcs ffb solution or once it’s set I can uncheck spring effect again and it’ll work with any module that spring?
1You do not have to sticky it for the gain to work, I do this as well but with a steeper curve
RCool. What extension and grip are you using and what aircraft. I’m already using balance spring and adaptive recentering. However there is still some slop I want to tighten up completed how the real aircraft I’ve flown compares. Thanks.

1I have the thrustmaster metal grip on a 200mm ext so about as heavy as you can get, lol
1Took some tweaking and more so adapting, for helos though I’ve been overriding the trim and using a beeper trim also
