CStill getting audio dropouts over HDMI this morning (Ally X) - I thought it was connected to switching between docked and handheld, but last night I played docked on a fresh boot for a few hours without any issues, and this morning turning it back on I've got the half second pauses of silence every minute or so again, so it seems to be sleep related rather than dock related

Ai found out that every few days i have to shutdown and start my display again that has the dock
Aotherwise i get crackles
CMine appears to be almost every time I use it
CA full restart of the Ally works every time, so something is getting delayed / tampered with during sleep I guess
Amaybe unplugging it might also fix it
CRight, unplugged everything, restarted my tv and my Ally
CAudio drops are still there

CAs per that guide I linked, I checked in usr/share/wireplumber/main.lua.d and suspend timeout is already disabled in the config file
CSo there's nothing I can change there I don't think
RSince updating Steam Deck (OLED Limited Edition) through ‘ujust update’ two days ago, the Bazzite deck_startup.webm file + corresponding ones for sleep etc. are automatically added into the home/deck/.steam/root/config/uioverrides/movies/ folder every restart… (Fresh system install from approx. four days ago) They reappear even though I remove the files, the ‘movies’-folder or the ‘uioverrides’-folder altogether.
RFor testing purposes, recursively changing ownership of the ‘uioverrides’-folder doesn’t change anything either, the files come back after a restart no matter what I try, and the permission changes are reverted to deck:deck, as they should be. I don’t want these Bazzite files there. What gives, does anyone know?

AI installed bazzite on my devices a while back, so I can't say anything about recent installations. But I do know that I didn't have the custom bazzite suspend animation until more recently.
AAnd it started being automatically being used on my device after an OS update
AI don't mind the animations, so not a big deal to me
ABut I had naively assumed bazzite was now de-facto enabling their animations

Pi might not be making sense because i think i poisoned myself today but i think as long as you can just change some settings to get the old anims back, it's a non-issue?
ZI think there was a change to copy over the animations to the steam directory each time it started
ZCan you try changing the animation to steam one, restart and see if it is kept?

RYeah, that script you pointed to is definitely the ‘culprit’, in this instance. Don’t get me wrong, the Bazzite one is nice and all, but not being able to change to another one any more is an issue.
