KOne thing i'll note, I always shut down. plug in egpu, then boot with it connected. I've had bad experiences trying to hotplug my Core on my old laptop, so I just haven't even tried doing so on my LGo.
ZOk so few minutes reading and at least seems is not as painful as doing UIs with java swing

MI've spent so many days and nights. it is either 7900GRE not fully functioning in AMD Linux driver or @Mister Fluffles 100% set something and forgot what it was 
KI've done zero confliguration. Just plugged 7600XT into Razer core, plugged into Legion Go, booted, off I went.
KI have no idea what a 7900GRE is though, never heard of that.
KIt's not the former, we have tons of users with that GPU

Mthat is so so weird. works on windows - just plug and play. Doesn't work in Linux plug and pray and then forget.

- Boot legion go. hook up cable start game. bad performance
- boot legion go, hookup cable, restart legion go. gamemode doesn't start in about 5-10 minute falls back to desktop mode

KOdd. I power off Legion Go, plug in Razer Core, then turn on Core, then turn on Legion Go.

KIt expects the display to be directly connected to the graphics card it's running on
KMy 7600XT is in my desktop being used for ROCm at the moment, sorry
KI can do it on the weekend but I'd advise you try a HDMI or DP monitor first.
