Gnewish to linux - when you first install Bazzite or get an update that includes a new kernel, and the boot screen says it's updating kargs, what does that mean? what is a karg and why does that need to happen?

Bif you give the display a command to show "FEED ME SEYMOUR", it has to show up with some side facing up
Bthere do exist displays which can switch rotation in hardware but it's not common
