Has anyone gotten there rog ally X to successfully get bazzite to work on it KDE followed the videos but I'm getting an error when installing bazzite from the boot menu. Checkisom
Hi there! New here, just put Bazzite Gnome on a USB drive and will be looking into it in a couple of moments.
In the meantime, I'd like to ask if it's possible to dual boot Fedora KDE (non-Kinoite, as in not the immutable version) and Bazzite (2 drives, Fedora on one drive, and Bazzite on the other). I know, for instance, dual booting Fedora isn't really possible, but is Bazzite considered a "different OS", even though it's based on Fedora?
I would actually have them both connected at the same time. Would be very inconvenient for me to disconnect them as well (they're both M.2, and one slot is covered by a massive GPU, so I'd have to remove the GPU to access the slot).
also since you have keyboard available you can access the
User Creation
User Creation
section to change the username and password. if you did not have a keyboard then you should not enter the user creation as you will just blank out the defaults and be unable to type anything.
Two Methods: Method A or Method B A) Installing Bazzite on a separate drive (Recommended) B) Manual partitioning on the same drive A) Separate Drive Method Note: This method is ideal for desktops and HTPCs, and would be inconvenient for handhelds unless planned to keep stationary. Install Bazzite on a separate internal or external drive. ...
I'd be thankful to who ever can vc with me and walk me through. Srry after spending a week without playing I kinda wanna get this done and not mess up lol
dual booting is mostly tricky because of windows shenanigans making it harder than it should be (and sometimes causing it to fail because of said shenanigans anyway when you turn them off)
