MYeah I think the only time I experienced modding pains on linux is San Andreas because it uses some random exe
Athough on the plus side, the mod manager itself did automatically find the FFIX game directory on Bazzite
Athank you Steam Deck for getting mod devs to add that sort of support

MI think a game I was surprised how easy it was to get running mod wise is GTA V just required some DLL overrides
