Jyeah for some reason desktop layout got disabled, fixed it by reenabling
RFunny thing is, this got me HMM running
RBut Forces and Frontiers launch without mods for some reason
RThe only one that works with Mods is Generations

Borgins needed a dll. Lostworld just worked like generations.
A- you can go easy route and layer vscode + docker/podman and use devcontainer
- you also could use flatpak vscode + podman/docker with more caveat
- you could use vscode inside distrobox
- layering isnt recommended and will slow your update
- podman have some caveat in devcontainer
- you can avoid layering docker with docker-distrobox

ONew to bazzite, OG ROG ally. whenever I launch more demanding games suck as "Hogwarts legacy" "Spiderman remaster" "ratchet and clank" the device starts the game and the console goes black then i have to reboot the ally. (works with lower end games fine)
THey there, ive been on bazzite on the steam deck and iv'e been setting up virtualization but i need help bridging my wifi to the virtual machine, If anybody could help me on that, that would be great thanks

Aafaik auto is recommended so it doesnt eat your ram, if you dont have any issue probably safe to leave it on auto

SHow's the user desktop environment experience on AMD gpus? I currently run Nvidia with gnome and it's making me pull my hair out lol. Wayland is just not stable at all for me while x11 is perfect but never wakes from sleep. Willing to go to team red if it means stability

LHello everyone, someone try oculink with Bazzite but with AMD cards ? I have an Nvidia and I will perharps switch it
DOn a Lenovo Legion 7 with both integrated and dedicated graphics, both work out of the box as far as AMD is concerned.
Did have a bug of steam games not liking a KDE update and installing MPV and Deluge.
My game weren't displaying over HDMI, showing a blank or frozen screen but, alt-tabbing they were playing in a little tinny window.
Unplugging the HDMI from the laptop, the laptop screen games were fine.
Reinstalling Bazzite fixed the issue. Don't know whether to file that under #JustPlamaThings or user error on that one.

AHDMI 2.1 does not work thanks to HDMI forum. Other than that everything just works. I seriously considered switching back to nivida a couple months ago because I could really use HDMI 2.1 but it really is just copium thinking nvidia is a good experience.
PAs a note to this, I quite literally got a HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 adapter yesterday for this reason. Works well so far, VRR also. Haven't tried HDR yet.
PObviously shouldn't have to do this, and technically it's a subpar solution (DP 1.4 is inferior to HDMI 2.1, but thankfully there is DSC, maybe there are also other weird things I haven't noticed yet)
POn another note, I managed to
rm rf my home folder.PI tried to create a
~/.local/shares/fonts folder, and somehow it ended up starting with ~/~. Thought I'd just cd ~ then rm -rf ~, then the rest is history.
RHmmm, the only thing I was missing was the game not running with the enabled mods

AI have spent at least $100 on adapters. If they work, some update comes along and breaks them. I've given up. Waiting for rx8000 or nvidia to get it together.
