EHi folks, i've found a neat little project on Github that I'd like to install on my bazzite(desktop), but a little unsure how to go about it. The project is early in development and currently only has the following ways to install (picture). Are any of these easily possible to use on Bazzite or should I compile the project myself?

KIf it works without root you can just build it in a fedora distro box and run it there

CThat doesn't explain why it works on all other screens though - this is the bit that confuses me

CI've tested across 4 TVs - this Samsung is the only one with an audio issue
KIs the resolution the same? Are they also HDR? Everything that takes up bandwidth gets you closer to that limit

CThe problem TV is standard 60hz, but is capable of 4k. I've capped output in desktop and gamemode to 1080p though
COne of the other screens I tested on is also capable of 4k, but that had no issues
KGame scope always uses native, what you are doing there is upscaling from 1080p to 4K
KSo that's not saving you from your bandwidth problem
Cthe TV reads it as a regular 1080p ouput
Cso the signal it's picking up is only 1080p

GSunshine and moonlight work fine, but following all the setup steps to launch games via moondeck and trying to launch any game from the deck gives me the same error ' host returned error: failed to start the specified application (error zero)' on the deck', and an 'Application MoonDeckStream successfully stopped' notification on my Bazzite PC
Gsorry, I should be clear that the deck is running stock SteamOS
Gthe command for the appimage in sunshine is "/home/my user name/AppImages/moondeckbuddy.AppImage --exec MoonDeckStream"
Gwhich seems right to me? are there any other steps I'd need to get the binaries from the appimage?

GI mean I can still run games via moonlight itself, but because I have an nvidia card, steam's gaming mode on my pc is a no-go, so I have to dance around a stream of my desktop using a controller, which never feels great
CWas already set to 2 - it's my only option as I'm just using the TVs built in speakers. Interestingly I just booted into windows for the first time since installing Bazzite and there are no audio output issues on the same screen when outputting at an actual 4k
CSo there must be something happening with linux HDMI limitation / handshaking with the TV

Gbut I shouldn't have to do anything extra with the firewall or whatever else I'm assuming. I don't really know much about appimages
