GCould someone explain to me which TDP control to use on the rog ally x? There’s two: the HHDaemon and the SteamOS slider. What happens if I set one to the default 13w and the steam one for 20w?

VHHD should be hooking into steam, so it's the "same" slider.

Wwhy is there a risk when dual-booting linux? what are some of the ways it happens? is data recoverable if it happens? how would i be able to tell if i lose data? Does Linux have a recovery program and/or revert back to a previous save?

KIf you share a drive with Windows, there is a constant risk that Windows could eat your boot partition. There is no fix for that
KIf you go out of your way to Mount an NTFS partition from Linux, there is a risk you could lose data in that partition. The NTFS driver is not officially supported by Microsoft

Wwhat is the best (paid or free) linux recovery tool? I believe you said Kyle to not format Linux files in NTFS (only BTFRS). NTFS wouldnt run games, right? But if they're on my Windows drive which are NTFS, what do I do? Doesn't formatting a drive after mounting it wipe the data?
KThe only thing you can do is take them off that drive or format it as something else

KThat has a risk of data loss because you're using a community-made driver for BTRFS on Windows, but it's just video games so not an issue for me

KReformatting a drive means losing all the data on the drive, that's the only way to change the format
Wfrom some guides on google and YT, some people showed how to mount the drives, but did not specify if that would wipe that drives clean hence why i was confused
Wi do have a microSD with some games on it. i read on universalblue that microSD cards auto-mount. would that mean that data is automatically lost?
