KThat has a risk of data loss because you're using a community-made driver for BTRFS on Windows, but it's just video games so not an issue for me

VYup, only thing you kind of need to worry about is GPU, but even switching to or from the Nvidia image is very easy.
VLinux is a LOT more forgiving with hardware changes.
