Anyone else mount their Rhino in a Next Level Racing pit? I am getting up there on the list and want to prepare

AI loved when the claim was made that Moza was the first to enter the flight sim market for FFB.
ASome of the claimed features in the video are planned features, not features that the software Moza has provided can actually do right now.
AUnfortunately there is a pretty vast difference between reviewers like say Jabbers look at the moza, and Promoters like HIP.
VIs it really missed? It's not like the queue is drying up as it is currently

ADon't get me wrong I like walmis, and Rhino, I'm buying one for review, but a response could've helped at least educate the guy

VIdk if it's just my mindset but I really don't really think every Youtuber and their grandmas should get stuff for review just because they have a YT channel with XY amount of subscribers.
Many times have I seen stuff from such Youtubers that's just plain wrong but because they don't know better, the audience they reach takes that at the face value and the circle of misinformation begins.
On the other hand, Rhino is in circulation for a while now. I firmly believe that 90% in the flightsim community have already heard about the Rhino from the owners and DIYers. Better to get a "review" from people actually owning it and using it rather than someone who's just gotten it an played with it for a bit without looking in too deep.

JCan't convince me a genuine effort was made on their part tbh, either in getting a unit for review, or in gathering information about the rhino

AI don't have a metric ton of subs, but I have really good engagement, Some of the largest channels that review stuff are the worst at reviewing them. I'm sure it has more to do with production value and things like that than actual content.
AIn this industry, word of mouth is extremely strong. And sometimes companies don't really realise that. Some companies that are super big in this inudstry are starting to find this out as the competition mounts.
AAnd you are absolutely right, if you are passionate about flight sim hardware at all, you already knew about Rhino.
AHonestly HIP isn't really a reviewer either, this is just promotion.
CEvery time I see things like this about products not responding to YouTubers and the following discussion. It always feels like the YouTubers are complaining about not getting a review sample or just something flat out for free before everyone else.
In a world where everyone and their mother is an influencer it's kinda tiresome. Especially when we are talking about a niche product inside of a small niche inside the community of gamers.

HAs long as the queue is filled to the max, I don’t see the point in handing out review samples.

SFor any YTer asking for a review, Walmis should randomly pick 1 guy from the queue and send it to him
CI think the YouTubers misunderstand Walmis. I can't speak for certain, as I am drawing some conclusions from what I have seen. But if Walmis was really worried about finding every last person in the world to sell a Rhino too, or drive out all competition. He wouldn't sell the kits, and actively support those who build their own and even those we sell kits themselves right in his Discord

AThanks man, I was curious how the cross member would handle it
SThe issue with the NLR seat is that the section of that cross-member is diagonal to the ground. So you have to come up with some kind of weird mount. This was my first stab at it before I reailzed ground mounting would be easier.

LHi all! Had a question on the rhino. Can the software integrate with a game like I racing to provide ffb on the roll axis for turning and potentially on the Y axis for throttle? Working on an accessibility build for a friend

HHi there, contemplating/planning a rhino + tiger pedals build. But have a few questions that I wasn't able to easily resolve by searching the msg history.
1. When using both the rhino and pedals, are they controlled in the same setups, and changed simultaneously? or do you run two instances of the software?
2. I'd like to make it with extra power (using 86's) but have seen people comment on the cogging, is this something that those users have calibrated out? or is that just something to expect?
I'd like to use it on a 20mm extension, and just worry about not enough force for me (on my racing rig I use 20NM, but mid cornering average is 12-15NM , but this is apples and oranges I know)
3. For those that built using the 86 did anyone try is with the gimbal 3d printed (I'd probably wont use it at full power, and have PAHT-CF), or is this straight up get it CNC'd? (anyone done this in Australia?)
4. Thinking of modifying my build so it's lower by moving the underneath motor to the side, to better fit the 20mm extension. Has anyone done this? I have a Trak Racer TRX so can't mount to the floor.

When you start the configuration software, you tell it which device you want to load. You can launch and connect to multiple devices and manage them separately.
The telemetry software is multiple instances of the same application under the hood, but the UI is managed through the primary instance and you have the opportunity to adjust the effects on each FFB device individually.

TSame pitch and width yes, but length will vary based on your design. For cooling if you are doing your own design, you can cool it however you want. But both motors use the same control board which only has headers for two fans.
