Pamd are on the backfoot because instead of dedicating space to that they will just use regular compute operations to the same effect

KRetracing will be here one day, I just find it to be dishonest we're running games at a quarter or less the resolution on $1,000 GPUs to get playable framerates
ZGames that requires ray tracing stuff doesn't feel like is done to last
Pyour ten year old hardware is still fine for 99% of games and raytracing isn't some boogieman
KOr, worse, implementing half measures where only some effects are ray traced
Pit's too early but you can't fault artists and developers too much if they're going to end up being forced into learning to work with the tech anyway

MOf course native all the way and I usually play native 4k but sometimes flipping on the quality setting just works for my eyes if the fps is that bad
