I received my Rhino base in June 2024 but with the death of my father-in-law, then solve all the problems and well I had not been able to play with my #Rhino.

I finally have time to play with it. I'm here to bother you to solve a problem! I drive on #Dcs /IL2 Bob and Mfs 2020!
My #rhino is well recognised by my Windows 11pro/Amd 7800x3D/64 ram ddr5/Mobo-Asus B650E-E ROG STRIX/ RTX 4090/Pimax Crystal Headset /MFG rudder. I launch the 2 Rhino apps (VPFORCE Configurator+Telem FFB) I use the #Rhino configuration (default rhino), I didn't change anything! Everything works very well apparently. My problem is that my Rhino, when I push/pull it towards me, everything works very well with a resistance in flight but: Laterally? My #rhino from left to right is all soft? I don't understand at all?

My #Rhino is connected to a Hub -USB 3.0 self-powered with an electrical outlet and connected to a USB-3.0 socket on my motherboard!

But nothing works!!

From left to right there is no force, or FFB?

Did I miss something?

I'll put you some screenshots of my settings, it's basic setting.

I leave as a noob #FFB with this #Rhino, my only joy FFB is a logitech G960 and à Microsoft #Sidewinder II ,there a long Time (1999).

The X motor has shutdown due to instability, try reducing

damper force LPF

damper force LPF

5-6Hz

in the Expert settings
To reset motors click Debug tab -> Reset Motors button
Both motors should have status OK at the bottom.

A small question :

-You have to create new profiles to adjust our Rhino ?
Because when I read the gamers who show their #Setting profile right here ,they have completely different settings from the #default config profile?

Just finished my build.
Unfortunately i get the following:
"[17:24:06.018] * USB Connected
[17:24:06.029] Motor 0 timeout
[17:24:06.029] Motor 1 timeout"

both motors appear offline.

They have power. I get see them both having green flashing led.

My guess is that applying some damper helps.

A picture of the board may help. I'd try disconnecting and reconnecting the data cables in both the motors and board just to make sure they are connected correctly.

Did that and one of them worked. But the other one is still offline. seems that the connectors are a bit loose

Well, it seems that the jst pins inside the connector had moved slightly outwards. i fixed the connector and now it works ok.

I have another issue, trying to do the first calibration.
I'm with protomaker's design.

In the pdf it says:
(with the stick centered - i'm using the centering tool)

Click "Auto calibrate"
In the axes setup set Xmin,Ymin=0 Xmax,Ymax=4096
Click again "Auto calibrate" and then "Apply settings" and "Store settings"

Raw X,Y values should be very close to 2000

My process is as follows:

X,Y values are all 0

I push "Auto Calibrate"

X,Y values become the following:
Xmin=14, Xmax=14
Ymin=1171, Ymax=1172
raw_x=14, raw_y=1172

I set X,Y values as:
Xmin=0, Xmax=4096
Ymin=0, Ymax=4096

I push "Auto Calibrate" again
Apply Settings and Store Settings

raw_x and raw_y on the left panel haven't changed.
raw_x = 14 and raw_y=1172
and the joystick indicator has the dot somewhere in the top left range

If i don't and just push Auto calibrate once, move the stick to max positions and click again, then joystick indicator is correct but still raw_x and raw_y are not 2048 at the center and values are way off the 0-4096 range

You don't need the centering tool. Just remove it. Select auto calibrate. Move the stick to its maximum making circles or squares and then select store settings.

I never had to enter any values manually. I just did a couple of auto calibrations and then it was ready.

I honestly didn't do any of that. Just a regular auto calibration a couple of times and it worked.
