ZI use a 20cm gooseneck as my extension too, and started with your setup as a starting template. Do you use the "Low Hydraulic Pressure Effect" in TelemFFB, and if you do, how do you setup the damper/inertia/friction overrides?
HI don’t use neither of those effects, sorry. I set inertia friction and dampening only once per class (fixed wing or helicopter) in dedicated vp config profiles. And I haven’t tried the low hyd press effect yet.

FDo I need to run both TelemFFB and FFB Configurator when playing DCS?
BNot necessarily the configurator but it is where you would change and tune core parts of the stick, don't really see any reason not to
HUsually I have VP config running (two instances for pedals and stick) while playing to tweak the profile if necessary.
BMight also be my paranoid behind, but I also like having usbtreeviewer running in admin mode as well.

TI've been having issues with the VKB adapter, I've tried connecting it to the MK1 Blackbox and MK2 Blackbox, and flashed them accordingly, but I can't use the KG12 grip or the TM Warthog grip (w/VKB adapter)
TThe red "Stick" light on the blackbox keeps flashing.
And obviously I can't ask VKB for help here, the adapter is VPForce after all, so I was just curious what the procedure is here.

TThe blackbox just keeps blinking red which makes sense because it doesnt have a VKB base connected to it, but even with the KG12 firmware uploaded it wont detect the buttons either.
TSo how is it envisioned that this VKB adapter is gonna work?

TAffirmative, and the Thrustmaster Warthog grip with VKB adapter also works on the original GF base.

COk great, based on timing you should have the rev b. Which is compatible with your black box 2. Hence able to get it to work.
TYeah I thought something was off when the orange box didn't work either, so I delved deeper into the unknowns of VKB software & firmware and was able to get it working.
SI have this exact combo but I havent actually installled the shaker kit lol. I just like that it looks like an F-16 stick so much... one of these days ill probably pop it on. the extra buttons are nice for Il-2
TCan chime in I've run multiple FFB peripherals at once, Jetseat + Rhino + MSFFB2, and it works, all the device needs is the game to keep sending out the data any given FFB/shaker needs and it should work, doesnt matter how many ffb units are connected
SI dont think the winwing shaker kit has much to do with FFB?
Sanyway I found the rumble/shaker stuff on the Rhino itself to be more than sufficient, I see no real need to add a little shaker module to the grip
Sjust do it for the extra buttons n switches

AI had to modify the VKB adapter because it as-is would not reach the pogo pins on my MCG Ultimate grip and while tinkering I noticed the hole runs through the whole adapter block, which made me think... Is it possible to remove the mini-DIN connector and route the grip-to-Blackbox cable through the whole base?

YLet me start saying that I totally love Rhino FFB. I totally love what it adds in term of immersion. Unfortunately I ran lately into an issue with IL2, which is happening quite often. The stick would suddenly shut down out of nowhere in a middle of a combat, making the distinctive sound as if it was shut off by pressing the button. Then I push the button and turn it on, and it starts working again. During the operation, I usually crash, as I loose all controls which is really frustrating. Any idea what might cause this? This is quite annoying. Many thanks in advance.
