Hey!

We have this channel #news where we always announce latest updates, and sometimes social updates, but it is mostly about Dash updates. So checking that is enough!

And fyi, if we release an Dash update, you will also get an popup in Dash so you should not be able to miss anything actually

Yee as Sergio said, you can open the list of Active tools and see if it is there. It is the icon/button on the top left corner inside the Tools Panel.
The fact that it don't auto appear can be cause the tool connection is broken, if you find it and open it, please check if both the scatter object and surface is still assigned

heres a fun one - not really dash related just if any geniuses have an idea how to do it!
I have two landscapes, I want to deform part of 1 landscape (the base landscape) to the contours of the second landscape - the second landscape will then be deleted - any ideas how i can do this

All our tools are unfortunately Editor Mode only, so you can't change parameters in the Sequencer like that I am afraid. It is something that we want to try to fix at some point, but it is a really hard problem unfortunately.

Fyi, in the trial, you have access to 100% of the features of Dash

The tutorial is actually not 100% clear in this step, the thing that I think you are missing is that you need to open a new road tool and load the preset into that new road tool, I guess you are loading the road preset into your already existing road tool. Here in my video, I try to be more clear about the need to create a new road tool, assign the preset to it, and then assign the curve to the second road tool

You are still viewing the new one, this pin being blue, means this is pinned, if you click that (make it not blue), and then select your rocks, the tools Panel will update and show you the path scatter you have created

It was actually super easy just use the copy a paste for the landmass brush tool! So I selected region I wanted to copy and paste it onto second landscape .!
