Is there any way to duplicate a KV database so I can take my production data and bring it into a separate environment I can safely use for testing?
KOr even to clone my production data down to a local copy?
TIt's not possible to do this at the moment, the recommendation is to use the REST API or Workers directly in order to migrate the data.
Dsubrequests have their own limit, so the solution you described would work 
Dyup, you have to add the worker itself as a binding, and then it's the same as invoking another worker
Dthere's a depth limit, so you can't recurse indefinitely, but I've never hit that accidentally

AHowdy! I noticed a werid think in the Cloudflare ui for kv pairs. I can see a key in my kv when I page through but when I search for that key it doesn't show. I copy and paste the key from the list (4f1b9e271b72b589). some of the keys work but others don't. Is it possible the key has some kind of hidden character in it?
AI just checked and the key is there if I use wrangler!?
MAre KV updates instant? For what I read. I think it take sup to 60 seconds to propagate to other regions, but in the user's region, the Update & Read should be consistent and almost instant?
IConsistent in the same datacenter. But there are 340+ datacenters across the globe, and sometimes a user can flip-flop between two (rare but happens) or might switch to a new one on cellular vs wifi, so don't rely on the consistency at all really.
HNote too that IIRC local writes can fail, causing read-after-writes to not be consistent either

Rusing the cloudflare TS API Library, I can successfully update a KV value using the
client.kv.namespaces.bulk.update method, but when I try to use client.kv.namespaces.values.update it always returns a null value rather than any kind of error message. I feel like I'm going crazy

which suggests that d1 performance is similar to kv. Is that the case?
I would like to store and query other info about the session if I can. if d1 gives me the same performance, i'd rather use that.

HCan someone please help me understand what "Operations/Worker invocation" means?
HCan I access my kv from a worker only 1000 times per day? That seems unlikely
WWorker invocation means each time the Worker is invoked. So if you're using HTTP, every HTTP request received. Crons, every cron schedule fired, etc.

but I'd recommend just using the right tool for the job over the one which is a tad faster. what the right one is, that's for you to decide.

RI'm unable to delete a KV namespace, even though:
I attempted to remove all KV pairs from the namespace directly using the Cloudflare API, but the KV pairs reappeared after a few hours.
What should i do? I suspects an in-depth technical support is required. Thank you.
- All associated Worker scripts have been deleted from deployment.
- The namespace still shows associations with the respective scripts, even after attempting to delete it during a brief period when the KV storage was empty (this was temporary due to the situation below).

Ri used the following script to perform the data wipe of this problemetic kv namespace

ICould it be that you have multiple worker versions and previous version is still writing to the namespace? We would need namespace id to investigate, can you reply to direct message?

ICan you try to add more logging to capture more details? It might be something other than KV.

BGreetings. Is KV different from Redis? I mean is it just a fancy cloudflare naming or is it a different product?

IKV is Cloudflare's own product and so has it's own API methods/infrastructure/backend.
