How do I enable high resolution options in Rocket League, without changing to custom Mac resolution?

  • MacBook Pro 14" M4 Pro]
  • macOS Sequoia 15.1.1
Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new to Heroic, so please be patient with me. I recently installed Rocket League but I'm getting a limited number of resolutions. You can see the highest resolution is 1512x982, which is the current "resolution" of my Mac with its scaling.

I've tried changing the ResX and ResY in the BaseSystemSettings.ini file, and I've tried changing the game mode to Borderless or Windowed and restarting it.

The only solution that has worked so far is to change my Mac from 1512x982 to the highest resolution 3024x1964, which enables more resolutions in Rocket League.

The thing is, I hate having to switch my Mac resolution. It's pretty much unusable in this state. Is there any way to boot the game in a way that tells the game that my screen is capable of quasi-4K without having to run macOS at such a high resolution?

Thanks in advance <3
