Is your Configurator v1.0.17b2 loading settings from device's memory on application start, my doesn't? Is Configurator's functions of Load Settings and Revert redundant? Does exactly the same thing or is there something I don't know about?

"revert" will load the "running config" from the device into the configurator settings
"load" will load the "saved config" from the device into the configurator settings.

Running/saved config could be different if you made a modification and hit Apply rather than Store. This will change the running config, but will not save it to flash.

The A10 is an outlier for me, most other modules and MSFS are pretty good. Perhaps my Slaw range of motion is different. Will TelemFFB/Configurator ever have an axis scaling feature do you think?

I guys, I recently plugged my Rhino back because the other ffb base I was using has a cable issue. Like the first time I used the Rhino a year ago or so, most my DX buttons are ON, and I cannot click any... does anyone how to solve this ? thanks

Hi, can you do a quick test with the older v16 firmware? That will help me to isolate the issue. Don't forget to export your current settings.

I must specify that i own 2 different F-18 sticks and one brand new, and it happens with both of them. I also own the Virpil Warbrd and the VFX, and if I plug them, and set the proper stick type in VP Force configurator I am faced with the same exact problem

Try wiggling the cable and plugging back the connector block - see if the buttons stay off

you know whats funny ? the reason I came back to the Rhino is that my other FFB had stopped workijng because the cable was pinched too tight by some cable tie and created the same type of problem...

Ok, here with the good news. I identified the issue. One of the leads contained in the main cable wasnt fully seated/connected in the plug, that then goes into the connector, to wich the grip is connected. I suspect it was either creating a short, OR, missing one contact from the 5-6 leads( i didnt count how many they are and I dont know how they work, but of coruse you need all of them for the whole sytsem to work)

long story short, I pushed it in to seat it in properly, so that it makes contact. and now it works. will it last ? I dont know.

i dont think i have the tools to install a new plug that would make sure that all the leads are firmly attached to the plug, but for now it seems to hold.
