I placed the generated grub.cfg as a sourced file from my previous one.

It then sourced it self over and over and blew up

Well fixed my grub. Windows installer does not have an ext4 driver so needed to grab a Linux live ISO....

My laptop not having an EFI shell was annoying since I needed a whole os to remove the offending file
