JAnd since bazzite isn't centralized, this leads me to believe it's something we're all sharing.
RNone of the changes from the days before 15th look like it could have caused it in the packages repo

Mi'm fairly certain that anaconda does not create an /etc/hostname by default unless you specify a hostname during install

MPretty hostname is not set by default. That's set in /etc/machine-info

JYeah, that is weird, I don't have a hostname either anymore. I could swear when I last looked I did. Though I'm on dx-stable, so one week between releases. Can't tell you when it went away. Wonder what happened
THere's another heads-up for y'all: if anyone reports that the new 42-based images don't boot on Intel Macs using the Apple Hypervisor, it's for the same reason as this Podman GH issue, with the same fix.

We've been getting lots of reports of distroboxes breaking due to not having /etc/hostname.
This unit that @p5 wrote just puts your hostname into there if that file doesnt exist yet.
